Pour que les murs se souviennent

I've done this wall painting for a group show at Aline Vidal Gallery from 10th May to 23th of June 2012.

This is the last Aline Vidal's exhibiton before leaving her local for a new place. this final event consists in 13 artists’ works with a common aim at accepting and supporting their mural status. No canvas and stuffs, no screw or nail, the exhibition lives in the premises and results in a frontal dialogue.

Disturbing the public opinion

I've participated in The event, Disturbing the Public Opinion, which through works and actions of its participants, whom live or have lived in Iran, challenges the aforementioned planes and their legitimacy. It sheds new light and offers a critical reading of the broad spectrum of issues and concerns. The audience encounters diverse forms of expression, such as drawing, painting,performance, theatre,film, video, found and altered objects, action, photography, poetry and more.
Disturbing the Public Opinion is curated by Barbad Golshiri and is realised in dialogue with Röda Sten Art Centre’s curator Edi Muka.

A young woman leaves Iran after that her boyfriend disappears in manifestations at Tehran. Reza, political refugee since 24 years ago, picks her up from the airport. The film shows a story between these two generations. In parallel with this scene, the film follows Negar's story. A young Iranian transsexual regretting his operation, wakes up and tells us his story in an hospital...
